Where to Get a Massage Near Mojácar

One of the questions that has surprised me lately is just how often people ask where to get a massage near Mojacar. At first, it felt like a slightly random request… but when you think about it, maybe it’s not so surprising after all.

Mojácar is full of active people—whether you’re swimming, cycling, hiking, enjoying paddle or yoga, participating in watersports locally or simply wandering the paseo for hours. Mojácar is also a destination for people looking to slow down, reset, and take a well-deserved break. And with that comes the desire for a little extra care and pampering.

Ironically, despite the lifestyle here, there isn’t a dedicated spa in Mojácar itself.
But—good news—there are excellent local practitioners offering great massage services.

Below are two highly recommended options:

Option 1: Ray Daniel — Remedio Clinic, Turre

Ray is fantastic—highly recommended by locals, long-term residents, and visitors alike. He works from the Remedio Clinic in Turre, and also offers home visits on request, which is a huge plus if you’d rather unwind in your own space. More on the sports massage side.

Option 2: Penny or Mike Sheenan — Beaches

We don’t have first hand experience – but we’ve seen Mike Sheenan at Beaches also recommended at Beaches (Facebook). Whether you’re looking for relaxation or help with specific muscle tension, they’re friendly, approachable, and well-regarded in the community.

Option 3: Masajes

Great location “above” the beach. Looks to me more like a relaxing massage. Take a look at the Masajes Instagram

Hotel Alegria

I have never visited – but I’ve seen recommended the small spa at Hotel Alegria, which is open to non hotel guests.

Valle De Este

A little way out from Mojacar is the golf resort of Valle De Este. We haven’t used the Spa facility at Valle de Este – but we once bought a friend a voucher for a treatment there. There were no complaints!

Aire Almeria

This one is a “destination” in it’s own right. Locals who are prepared to travel for some first class pampering seem to swear by Aire in Almeria city.

Final Thoughts

While Mojácar may not have its own spa (yet!), there are solid options nearby for everything from deep-tissue sports work to relaxation massage. Whether you’re recovering from activity or just want a treat, you’re covered.

If you’ve tried either of these—or have other recommendations—let us know!
Always happy to add more local gems to the list.
