Our Story: Name, Place, and Purpose
DeskSpace began with a simple idea: create a workspace in Mojácar where people could do their best work without compromise.
Our first concept was a small rustic space called Workshack. When that opportunity passed, it pushed us toward something clearer and more intentional. With a new location came a new name, one that worked equally well in English and Spanish.
DeskSpace felt honest and professional. The name reflected exactly what we wanted to build: a dependable place to work, with room to grow.
From the beginning, the space was refurbished with care, reusing furniture where possible and giving old desks a second life. That same intention carries through everything we do.

DeskSpace is about more than having somewhere to sit. It is about building habits, confidence, and community.
We are passionate about business, creativity, and personal growth. This is a place where ideas are shared, conversations happen over coffee, and no one has to work in isolation.
Meet the Founder
DeskSpace was founded by Angus Lyon in 2025. Based in Mojácar, Angus created DeskSpace to support meaningful work, genuine connection, and a balanced approach to productivity.
Inspired by Mojácar’s relaxed rhythm, the vision was to build a workspace where focus and flow come naturally. Outside of work, Angus enjoys family life with his wife and their 11-year-old daughter, who brings perspective and energy to everything he does.
