We’ve pulled together a list of Coworking FAQ. Yes these are questions we get asked – sometimes in groups, sometimes in a message or in-person.
Think of it as a professional space where you can come to work. There are optional bookable desks, monitors and a meeting space. Everything is set up waiting for you to connect your IT (and we can usually help with that too). Included in the price is superfast WiFi, free tea and coffee. For many people it’s the ideal setup: an office with superfast internet, without the commitment of a long rental contract with additional utilities.
Smaller, off the main beaten track but a great international community. Great weather for 300+ days per year means lots of options beyond the work day, whether cycling, hiking watersports or listening to live music.
Yes! If you’re looking for a slower pace of life but still with plenty of options both to do and to eat!
Typically we open Monday – Friday 09:30 – 17:30
However we can usually be flexible – so if you have a later call – give us a bit of notice and if we can we will accommodate your request.
Yes, you can book just for a couple of hours if you want – although the price per day works out much cheaper if you commit to a full month.
Most of the time we can accommodate “drop-ins”, but if you’re looking for something specific – why not drop-in the day before, have a look round – and reserve your place.
Yes, you can book the meeting room for just a couple of hours or all day. If you’re here using one of our desks and the room is available – you are welcome to use it.
Yes, this is one of those things that you either take for granted and just “do” or look on longingly. We LOVE seeing people fall in love with an external monitor. Take a look at our blog: Why External Monitors Are a Game Changer at DeskSpace
We have a printer for our clients on site. There is a printing shop 2 doors down. We do not have a scanner.
If you’re here for an extended period – you are welcome to get deliveries directed here. We are looking into the possibilities of you using this as a business address, but at the moment it’s not possible.
Yes there is – both air conditioning for summer and heating for the winter. We work here and have it comfortable … let us know if there’s something we need to change.
Great question – and you’re not the first to ask … this was a previous speed test. You are welcome to come and “test” that it will work for you.
In our experience there are two types of calls. Firstly the ones where it doesn’t matter that you’re in a shared office. Usually you can put a set of headphones on – and a considered volume at your end. If you’re hosting the call / have lots to say / it’s “emotional” or high energy, or you need to discuss something more private. We do have a meeting room – if it’s available you can use it.
Usually you can park right outside. But if all the parking is full – there are plenty of spaces opposite. All free.
Today (a random Thursday in November 2025) my wife and I had tapas at the restaurant next door to DeskSpace. Alongside a café con leche each, we had 4 tapas between us. The total cost was €11.40.
We have found it totally safe. But I do lock doors and hopefully stay alert. Sadly I’ve heard there are some opportunistic thieves. One scam seems to be a lady targeting / hugging jewellery wearing men in supermarket car parks (to remove the item). Another scam targetting ladies seems to be a where someone dropping change near a car in a supermarket carpark. This targets the ladies handbag on a front seat. Stay cautious! But I think it’s safer than many places.
Let us know and we’ll do our best to answer it.
